Terms of Service

Effective date: February 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Dosie web application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Dosie ("Dosie," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Dosie is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized access to your account.

4. Use of the Service

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use automated means to scrape, collect, or harvest data from the Service without permission.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or store in the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant Dosie a limited license to host, store, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you and your organization. We will not use Your Content for any other purpose without your consent.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing cycles, and plan details are described on our Pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You are responsible for all fees associated with your account. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by Dosie and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Dosie name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will make your data available for export for 30 days following termination, after which it may be deleted.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dosie and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dosie from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
